Demonstration for Trainers – August 28th 7am to 10am at the Receiving Barn at Woodbine
The University of Guelph is planning on conducting a mandatory Thoroughbred Heart Rate and Rhythm Study at Woodbine. Trainers at Woodbine are encouraged to attend a demonstration of the equipment that will be worn during racing. The demonstration will take place on Saturday, August 28th, 2010 from 7am to 10 am in the Receiving Barn at Woodbine Racetrack. Any questions Trainers might have can be addressed to the research team during the demonstration.
The Thoroughbred study is funded by Equine Guelph, and is supported by the HBPA of Ontario, Woodbine Entertainment Group and the Ontario Racing Commission.
