Continuously elected HBPA director for 32 years and remains enthusiastic to serve for another term. A tireless worker, Sam is always on the scene at Woodbine and Fort Erie to help solve problems. He has been an active horse owner for 46 years. Sam is anxious to see racing continue at Fort Erie. He will give his full support to ensure its survival. Sam Lima is an accomplished businessman and entrepreneur. Now retired, he is able to devote unlimited time to the HBPA and is always seeking fresh ideas for the betterment of horse people and thoroughbred racing.
