Privileges and Advantages of HBPA Membership

The Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association of Ontario has represented Owners and Trainers of Thoroughbred racehorses since 1950. Membership in the HBPA of Ontario begins when you become licensed as an Owner or Trainer with the Ontario Racing Commission. There is no membership fee.

The HBPA has a national office in Vancouver and provincial offices located in Calgary, Saskatoon and Winnipeg.

Some of the privileges and advantages of HBPA membership are as follows. Many of these benefits also extend to the employees who work diligently on the backstretch everyday looking after the horses.
